Aerospace Industry
Focusing on mechanical seals used in aircraft jet engines and turbopumps for space rockets, we provide integrated research, development, and manufacturing. These core technologies support safety and reliability under extreme conditions and contribute to the aerospace industry in Japan and around the world.
Rocket and Spacecraft Equipment
Our involvement in the space sector began in 1967 with the development of pump seals for Japan’s liquid-fueled rockets. Since then, we have contributed to the development of Japan’s flagship launch vehicles through the N and H rocket programs and onward to the H-IIA, H-IIB, and H3 rockets.
Japanese rocket engines use liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, making them exceptionally clean. They require advanced sealing technology to completely separate the explosive fuel from the oxidizer, and our sealing technology is highly regarded worldwide for meeting these stringent requirements.
We also actively develop highly reliable space equipment, including accumulators for Kibo, the Japanese Experiment Module on the International Space Station, and components for satellites. Drawing on our extensive experience and expertise in space components, we also import and distribute fuel tanks, valves, sensors, and other products, thereby contributing to the advancement of Japan’s space industry.

EAGLE Industry Supports the H3 Rocket!
The H3 has entered full-scale operation as Japan’s flagship launch vehicle, contributing to the realization of a safe and prosperous society through the use of space. Building on and advancing the legacy of the H-IIA, it will continue to support satellite launches and space exploration missions such as Hayabusa2.
Combining flexibility, high reliability, and low cost, the H3 is designed with user-friendly operation in mind. As an internationally competitive launch vehicle, it accommodates a wide range of missions and launch requirements.
Many Japanese companies are involved in the H3 project, and EAGLE Industry is proud to play a part. We supply various sealing products, including mechanical seals for the turbopumps used in the LE-9 and LE-5B-3 engines, helping to enhance the rocket’s performance and reliability.
Aircraft Engine
The first products that we delivered for aircraft engines were gearbox seals developed in 1966 for the J47 engine for the Defense Agency. Since then, we have produced main shaft seals and various other engine seals for major Japanese-made engines, such as the T58, J79, JT8D, FJR710 and F100, as well as bodywork seals for the KV107, C-1, F4EJ, YS-11, F-104, F-15 and P-3C. As Japan’s sole aircraft engine seal manufacturer, EAGLE Industry has grown in tandem with the development of the Japanese aerospace industry. The Company has recently taken part in an international development project of seals for civil aircraft engines. We are known throughout the world as a team of expert engineers. Technically, our portfolio of products is unique in the world, extensively encompassing carbon face seals, segment seals, brush seals, leaf seals and Actiseal gaskets. As an all-around seal supplier, we are one of the leading companies in the industry.
